Children’s Museum operating schedule and COVID-19 precautions

The Children’s Museum is continue to open up on a portion-time basis mainly because of the pandemic. The Museum’s schedule is: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. right until 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 until eventually 4 p.m.   

For everyone’s basic safety, personnel and volunteers in community parts of the museum dress in masks, and the museum is vigilant about cleaning and customer basic safety protocols, a news launch stated. Museum website visitors are envisioned to observe social distancing, and site visitors ages five and more mature are required to dress in a mask. Masks are optional for small children ages a few as a result of 4. Masks are not needed for children youthful than three. Visitors’ temperatures are checked on arrival and a collection of healthier concerns are asked. 

Due to the fact some displays and options are not readily available, the Museum’s admission cost is discounted $1 for each ticket. Team tours are not offered at this time.

Collected products will be dispersed to TORCH (Trinity Out-Attain Heart of Hope) in Oak Ridge. This year’s Diaper Drive is co-sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Oak Ridge and TN Users 1st Federal Credit score Union.
