Cardinal is a member of the Bigstone Cree Nation in northern Alberta. He claimed he hopes other local corporations consider take note.
“I consider it’s seriously important to have areas like this,” he said. “Especially below in Edmonton — that motivate people to have an understanding of Indigenous tradition a small little bit superior.
