MEDINA — The two-day Orleans County Chamber of Commerce Home, Garden & Outdoor Show concluded Sunday at the county Fairgrounds.
Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Darlene Hartway expected Sunday to be the busier of the two-day show, which began Saturday.
“We have wine-tasting by Leonard Oakes (Estate Winery). We also have the Easter Bunny Coming for pictures. We have a Scavenger Egg Hunt for children,” she said.
Today’s part of the show also has Dubby’s Woodfired Pizza and Partyka Farm Market as the trolley building food vendor.
“(There are) lots of opportunities to get a meal and a lot of really great vendors here to come and ask questions and see what the county has to offer,” Hartway said.
The show had about 23 vendors Saturday, but was to have a few more today, Hartway said. Saturday’s activity included a chicken barbecue,
“We have two buildings that have various vendors from our county around. We’ve had a nice, steady flow of people and, luckily, good weather,” Hartway said Saturday.
“Next year, I already have 17 vendors booked in, so next year, we’ll probably be back to our normal 40 or 50 vendors.”
Hartway noted the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce Home Show was this past weekend as well.
“Next year, hopefully, we’ll be at a different week. We both changed our dates, so I think that’ll be nice if we’re not on the same weekend,” she said.
The chamber executive director said there will be a lot of added features next year.
