BLUE GRASS-Ronald “Ron” K. Morrison Sr., 80, of Blue Grass, IA, handed absent Tuesday, May possibly 18, 2021, at Superior Samaritan Society in Davenport, IA. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, May perhaps 21, at Weerts Funeral House in Davenport. Inurnment will acquire location at Davenport Memorial Park at a later day. Ron was born October 2, 1940, to Robert and Naomi (Schroeder) Morrison in Davenport, IA. On January 25, 1958, he was united in marriage to Julia Heyveart in Rock Island, IL. Jointly they raised Tammy, Ronald Jr., and Gary in Blue Grass. Ron labored for Schott & Welch Masonry as a brick layer for 40 decades. He proudly served his neighborhood as a volunteer Firefighter for 25 a long time, finally getting Captain for the Blue Grass Fire Division. Ron liked supporting family with household improvement tasks, using treatment of his lawn, and accomplishing crossword puzzles. He volunteered for masonry initiatives in his neighborhood, introducing on to the Blue Grass Fire Section and operating on the “Welcome to Blue Grass” indication. A single of his most notable jobs was setting up the pergola at the Vanderveer Park Rose Backyard garden.

Ron will be missed by his wife of 63 yrs, Julia small children: Tammy Beatty, Ronald (Tina) Morrison Jr., and Gary (Ronda) Morrison eight grandchildren 9 excellent grandchildren two brothers: Joe (Sharon) Morrison and David Stoffers and two sisters: Peggy (Bruce) Stineman and Donna Wiese. He was preceded in loss of life by his mom and dad, Robert Morrison and Naomi Rose.
